Skullcap herb (Scutellaria lateriflora) : This herb is best known for its ability to calm the nerves. It is also a good source of calcium, magnesium, and silicon.
Hops flower (Humulus lupulus) : Hops are the flower of the hop plant used to make beer. In addition to brewing, the compounds in hops may provide health benefits, including inflammation support and central nervous system support for a healthy mood and sleep cycles.
Passionflower leaf (Passiflora incarnata) : Passionflower appears to boost the level of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in your brain. This compound helps to lower brain activity helping you to relax and potentially sleep better. It may also help to support the central nervous system and bring on a sense of calm.
Valerian root (Valeriana officinalis)
6-11 yrs: 1/8 tsp. 10 minutes before bedtime.
12+ yrs: take 1/4 tsp. 10 minutes before bedtime.
Dosage can be repeated in 20 minutes if needed.
