Accounting | Wage: DOE | 32 hrs/wk

You will be responsible for leading the Finance Department in all aspects, including monthly financial close, account reconciliations, journal entries, inventory costing, accounts receivable & payable, fixed assets, expense reports, and other department projects as they arise.

This is a challenging position with a large, rapidly moving inventory. Manufacturing accounting experience preferred. We manufacture over 500 pure, all-natural health solutions that change lives in a genuine, caring, and positive environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage all account reconciliations, inventory costing, assets, and journal entries
• Support the month-end and year-end close process
• Prepare and publish timely financial reporting, including statements/operational reports.
• Provide financial analysis and support operational metrics
• Prepare reports and a schedule for the annual audit with external auditors
• Implementation and enforcement of financial controls
• Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Cash flow management and forecasting
• Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
• Process payroll and related transactions when the primary payroll processor is unavailable
• Other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years accounting degree or 5 years accounting experience
• Accounting in other systems beyond QuickBooks is preferred
• Manufacturing accounting preferred
• Excellent planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Possess a high-level knowledge of computer systems and the ability to learn new software with minimal support
• Ability to successfully pass a credit and background check
