Barista/Cafe Prep | $13.00/hr + Tips | PT

Mountain Cafe uses fresh local ingredients in our recipes plus herbal extracts for unique flavors in many of our baked goods and drinks. Some of our signature items like Avocado Toast, Dam Ham Pani, Breakfast Burritos, Mountain Bowls, and scratch-made coffee syrups can be ordered to dine in or to go through our drive-through window. Essentials Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly, efficient, and personal customer service to each customer
  • Prepare and serve customers beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas
  • Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them
  • Prepare and serve menu items, such as sandwiches, salads, and baked goods
  • Wrap, label, or date food items for sale
  • Receive and process customer payments for café items and retail store
  • Assist customers in the retail store
  • Clean and stock both the food service area and customer seating area

*M-F Day Shift (Saturdays and Sundays are required in Summer months & this is an 8-hour shift)

Production Associate | $17.50/hr | FT

Do you thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment? Are you looking for a new challenge? Our Production Department is looking for positive, efficient, and ambitious team members who want to make a difference. 

The production department utilizes raw ingredients, packaging components, and manufacturing equipment to manufacture dietary supplements according to its specifications in our FDA/cGMP-compliant facility. You will be part of a fun, hands-on, fast-paced team working together to produce over 500 different supplement products that are being sold worldwide.

If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively, we encourage you to apply for the position of Production Associate.  

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to accurately follow the production steps outlined in each specific batch record.
  • Handles the efficient manufacturing, packaging, and labeling of products.
  • Set up, operate, and clean production equipment and work areas.
  • Select and measure or weigh ingredients, using English or metric measures and balance scales.
  • Document all steps of any process. Maintain quality assurance standards for all procedures.
  • Adhere to all applicable health, safety, and environmental compliance regulations, policies, and procedures.

QC/QA Specialist | $21.00/hr | FT

Our Quality Control Department is looking for a full-time QC/QA Specialist who is committed
and passionate about dietary supplements and understands the importance of upholding a
commitment to quality.

The QC/QA Specialist will ensure that the organization’s product and service are consistent.
They check the quality of incoming and outgoing products manufactured in our cGMP-compliant
facility by conducting tests, monitoring production processes, and ensuring products meet the
company’s quality standards.

Must possess outstanding verbal & written communication skills and work effectively with others
along with true integrity. On-the-job training is provided. cGMP, FDA, FSMA and/or quality
control experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate. If you are a dedicated

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish, approve, and maintain all controlled documents which include but are not
    limited to SOPs (standard operating procedures), Master Manufacturing Record, Master
    Batch Record, and Packaging documents.

  • Establish, approve, and test (organoleptic quality) per QC specifications for all starting
    materials, finished products, packaging materials, and labels.

  • Evaluate procedures for document change control including but not limited to revising
    and approving the revision of all established quality control specifications, sampling, and
    testing instructions as necessary, replacing superseded versions, and maintaining a
    complete written collection of the current version and historical record of all
    amendments.

  • Participate in all investigations of deviations, discrepancies, or test failures. Evaluate and
    authorize any deviations from standard processing and procedures, reprocessing, and
    /or re-working of products or materials.
  •  Manufacturing Floor support: Provide routine, real-time floor support to manufacturing
    teams, ensuring adherence to cGMPs and established internal documentation including
    SOPs, Master Batch Record (MBRs), and Test Methods. Reports errors in a timely
    manner.
  • Batch Record Review: Perform batch record review. Coordinate completion of batch
    record review promptly to support clinical product availability. Work with
    operators and technicians to correct deficiencies and mentor to assure understanding.
  • Review and approve CofAs (Certificates of Analysis).
  • Apply sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing,
    communicating, and resolving quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop effective working relationships with functional area peers and managers.

Marketing/Graphic Design | $20.00/hr (DOE) | PT

If you are an organized individual with a passion for design, follow directives, and have a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you. Mountain Meadow Herbs is looking for a talented organized Graphic Designer to help create visually appealing marketing material that effectively communicates our brand.

 As a Graphic Designer, you will take on various duties and be responsible for supporting several aspects of marketing projects for the Mountain Meadow Herbs brand including weekly content creation and design for promotional, sales, and educational material. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a positive mindset. They thrive on attention to detail and embrace shifting priorities, and projects, with a deadline. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create visually appealing designs for digital and print media, including sales catalogs, social media graphics, website banners, brochures, and advertisements 
  • Use content management systems to update and maintain website content 
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain and enforce brand identity guidelines across all design materials to ensure consistency in messaging and visual representation. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, and sales to understand their needs and translate them into compelling visual communication pieces. Coordinate projects with external printers.
  • Software Knowledge: Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Search Engine Optimization

Required Experience:

  • Associate degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience of 2-5 years.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop

Preferred Experience:

  • Social media platform management
  • Email marketing automation
  • Herbal supplement knowledge and experience
  • FDA knowledge
